2021 world cruise on mariner

Post: # 1809Post drib »

This is the link posted on CFC this morning:

https://www.rssc.com/ebrochures/JUL1868 ... 071018.pdf

And this is the trip on Roll Call:

rollcall/rollcall.php?trip=6904

And the Dollar View:

rollcall/dollar.php?trip=6904

They are calling it 117 nights, but I think they are not including January 4, the pre-cruise gala event.

Other Regent World Cruises for comparison:

2017 on Navigator, 128 nights:
rollcall/rollcall.php?trip=3777

2018 on Navigator, 137 nights:
rollcall/rollcall.php?trip=4976

2019 on Navigator, 131 nights:
rollcall/rollcall.php?trip=5590

2020 on Mariner, 131 nights (Miami Round Trip):
rollcall/rollcall.php?trip=6074

or 2020 on Mariner, 131 nights (San Francisco Round Trip):
rollcall/rollcall.php?trip=6073

Although I have data back to 2013, I didn't see anything that might be a world cruise until 2017. Certainly, the 2021 World cruise is less ambitious at only 117 nights.

Regent has a history of cancelling dry docks! Just recently, Mariner did a trans-Atlantic Rio to Barcelona, only to do another trans-Atlantic after dry dock. I'm sure that wasn't the original plan!

I'm surprised that Regent hasn't published the individual segments of the world cruise yet.

By the way, for Bodog's benefit, I should point out that a dry dock is where a ship goes for construction or maintenance. It is not a port where they do not serve alcohol. (Not that!)

 and welcome xrvlcruiser!
