iamheisenberg v drib critic jeopardy!
Oy vey. Oy Vey.
In the matter of iamheisenberg v drib critic jeopardy!, the so-called judges find as follows.
In the category "all inclusive" for the value of 500, the answer was "Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, Chambord, Midori Melon Liqueur, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice" to which respondent bodogbobog questioned:
So not to digress but who has had Sex on the Beach?
And quizmaster, alex - verified canadian, accepted as a correct response, in the form of a question, for no apparent reason.
Now comes iamheisenberg, claiming that bodogbog gave an incorrect response, that alex - verified canadian erred in accepting that response, and that the correct response is What is Sex on Fire?
It is apparent that, in forming his response, bodogbobog used a search engine with the complete text of the answer to "all inclusive" 500. Further, it is apparent that bodogbodog did not read the full text of the search results and merely responded with the general topic of the result, which is to say Sex on the Beach. However, the ingredients of Sex on the Beach, in fact, do not contain Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.
It is common knowledge that the level of difficulty in jeopardy!, drib critic or otherwise, is proportionally more on the higher values. This is forewarned by alex - verified canadian in the fifth post of the thread.1 It is clear that the game designers had this in mind when formulating the category "all inclusive." Bodogbodog should have been aware that a 500 value answer is more difficult and the correct response could not be ascertained by a simple Internet search.
Whether or not alex - verified canadian erred in ignorance, or in politeness, as Canadians often do, is not relevant in this matter. His error is correctable, and therefore, we, the verbose so-called judges, rule as follows:
iamheisenberg is to be credited with 500 points for responding correctly.
bodogbodog is to be debited 500 points which he received in error, and he is to be debited 500 points for his own incorrect response.
Further, in the matter of bodogbodog's contempt for drib critic, he is on notice.2 In his first post of the thread in question, bodogbodog gave incomplete information, identifying a ship as Disney without specifying which Disney ship. In his second post, he decried the processs as "rigged" without presenting any evidence. In his third post, he berated the top poster of that other message board. In his fourth post, he admitted to cheating. In his fifth post, he responded with the names of two countries when the answer asked for two ports. In his sixth post, he asked for special treatment. In his seventh post, he blasphemed penguins. In his eighth post, he defamed the CEO of an exclusive, luxury cruise line. (His ninth and tenth posts were okay.) In his eleventh post, he demonstrated the ability to use a search engine, and the inability to read the answer, an error he repeated in his thirteenth post. Bodogbobog, you exhaust me!
Judgement for the Plaintiff.
This verdict has been instantly auto-appealed.
Judgement affirmed.
1. Don't forget that the lower value questions are the easiest to answer.
2. Bodogbodog has been placed on double-secret probation.

Re: drib critic jeopardy!
This is complete BS - my people will appeal the decision once they're done on that immigration matter
Where does it say no search engine use? (not admitting that may or may not have occurred of course)
I'm going to start up my own forums where I can create the rules to suit ME - I'm building a wall - in fact YOU can pay for the wall
Ok Ok Doctor - I'll come quietly...

And again, please know that I am just a conduit for the writers. I read the clues and then I pretend like I would have known the correct response on my own. And sometimes I pronounce Don Juan as Don Jew-an.

drib critic final jeopardy!
Well it looks like I forgot to give the Final Jeopardy! category!
In Canada, we call this a senior moment, and I assume in Mexico, it's called a Señor Moment. A little humor there. {chuckles}
Anyway, the deadline to PM your wagers for Final Jeopardy has been extended to midnight, Pacific Time, April 21.
