Welcome to the Viking Ocean forum!

In 2014, when Roll Call was a roll call, it was mostly used by Viking Ocean cruisers. They used Roll Call because that other cruise message board was pokey in opening up roll call forums for their use. Then, there was just one ship, the Viking Star. Today, there are six ships, and more scheduled.

The only thing preventing me from trying Viking Ocean is that, at my entry point, they cost about the same as Regent. They often offer free or discounted air, but I don't think they offer a credit instead, and therefore there are no discounts for me. But somewhere, sometime, there will be the right Viking Ocean cruise for me to give it a try.

We have two different lots of friends sailing them in 2019 and 2020 on the new ship - Jupiter - we look forward to hearing how they find them. But I have a similar experience in terms of comparing pricing on Viking versus Crystal
